Random pictures over the weekends...I look terrible in most of them but I thot ma' blog has been pretty lack of photos lately and I should post these...
Happy Indulgence. The rain continued from last night, so I happily slept till 12pm. Its Gaby's day-off today, met him in the noon to go collect the iPod casings at Funan. I'm very happy, cos they gave us three casings, that means one extra one. Then he went to Oriental Hotel, he had to collect his OT pay, so I went shopping alone while waiting for him, got something from Women's Secret. Had Carls Junior for dinner, I wanted to puke after finishing the burger, in fact, its not yet finished. Caught "Curse of the Golden Flower", pretty nice movie, worth watching. Then while on our way to the train station, we passed by Gelare... Gab & I looked at each other and said: "Its Tuesday!" Then we hopped in and had our ice-cream waffle, something we haven't had for ages... I remembered how we always took time out on every Tuesday for waffle, we made it a point to have it every week, but eversince we got busy, we gradually forgot about the waffles...
Its still raining pitter and patter outside, but I love rainy nites...
Merry X'mas to all! Have a blessed day Darlings... Thank you for the gifts. 24th December, Eve of X'mas. Hang around at CoffeeBean, had dinner at Swensens, slacked at CoffeeBean again, caught "Night at the Museum". The summary of what I did, lazy to blog out in details..Wahaha! But its was fun la... Simple but sweet get-together, I love you girls!
Wednesday, 21st December 2006. I almost fell asleep while working today. Busy day with lots and lots of never-ending phonecalls which almost drove me nuts.
Had dinner at Kim Gary, Vivo City with Shell, Ting and Hui. We got the window seats do we had the nice view of the scenery outside. Sorrie, no camera so no pics.
I don't want the rain to stop. Went shopping with Gaby today, got X'mas pressies, ribbons, wrappers, a top that I hope I won't regret... He got flip-flops, the Adidas bag and some food/snacks. Settled for dinner at Pizza Hut before heading back home. I'm gonna be very broke soon. Head is spinning now. Legs are aching now. I better got get some rest, work tomorow!
Legs are aching after a day of fun. Shopping and ktv-ing are our all-time favourites. With Shell & Ting, I sang and shopped like I never did for ages. Got a pretty necklace and a satin headband. 2 more pressies to go and I'm all ready for X'mas.
Thursday, 14th December 2006. Gaby's day-off today! Delivered breakfast to his doorstep early in the morning. Then, we had breakfast over TV and slacked around at home. Went out in the afternoon, to Orchard. Shopped around and I got my pumps, some presents and Gaby got himself a berms. Caught "Flyboys" at nite at Cineleisure. Bumped into someone at the wrong place and wrong time. Memories never flew back, instead I got agitated at the sight of him.
Friday, 15th December 2006. Woke up early in the morning and went to bai-bai Ah Gong, its the 49th day since he passed away. The whole ceremony ended in the late morning, we were starving like hell, Daddy brought us for brunch before sending us back home. Mummy left for work, then we started packing the house, Dad mopped the floors, serviced the 5 aircons. Jes hung out the washed clothes and folded the dry clothes. I changed the bedsheets, threw out many many expired bottles of lotions, toners, creams... In the evening, Dad drove us to pick Yoshi up, then we went to Mummy's office together to wait for her to knock off. We went for dinner before heading back home. Helped pack Yoshi's luggage (he's leaving Singapore on Saturday morning, to pay a short trip back to Japan.)
Saturday, 16th December. Just got back home not long ago, Korkor brought us to Sketchers at Robertson Quay for dinner. Tired. Yoshi is back in Japan already. Baby Ryan will be landing tomorrow morning.
Alrite! Exams are over, my smashing vacation starts NOW. I just got back home minutes ago, headed straight down to town after the paper. Had proper lunch at 4pm at PepperLunch. Food is so-so only as usual, I never really like PepperLunch, but once in a while is okie la. Then HaoJie, LeeLee and I went shopping, Jon went back home to study for his paper tmr. Good luck Jonny! MNG is having a SALE. Mondo is having a SALE too.
But I bought nothing today. I wanted to get that pair of pumps BUT my pay cheque is still pending and so I just can't bear to part with the "what is left over" in my bank. How nice if I can use my other bank... Okie, the other is my savings so I don't wanna touch and Mummy forbids me to touch. But sometimes you'll be tempted to do so...
I'm broke! ARGH. X'mas gifts and Birthday presents not bought.
I need my Pure Chocolate Ice-Blended or Peppermint Mocha. Terrible! After staying at home the entire day, reading thru' the revision paper for umpteen times. I've made no progress. No progress at ALL. Now, I just wish eveything will be over soon and I promise to do a better project to score a PASS in this module.
Rushed off to Marina Square after work. Had dinner with Shell, Hui, Ting & Yi Hao at Sakae Sushi. Then went shopping for a while before heading back home. A short but sweet dinner, we drew lots to decide on who to buy who X'mas presents, haha...
Next week's plans: Monday - Mug with LeeLee. Tuesday - Mug at home. Wednesday - Sit for paper. (Maybe shopping or coffee in the evening.) Thurday - Gaby's day-off! Friday - Have dinner with Ting & Shell. Saturday - Sentosa! Sunday - Baby Ryan is coming back from Switzerland!
Today's our last day of school, next week is Common Test week, which I only have one paper to sit for on Wednesday. The following two weeks are the long-anticipated termbreak. How nice can it be to have termbreaks during X'mas & New Year, unlike last year, while all students were enjoying their year-end vacation, we were still having out usual lessons.
In less than a month, we'll be bidding goodbye to 2006, how fast right... This year, so much has happened... But nevertheless, it was still an enjoyable journey. Welcoming 2007, I'll be turning 21 soon! I'm happy and I'm sad, I'm no more a teenager but an adult. I can watch R(A) movies, I can get married without my parents consent (Okie! I won't cos I don't want to tie myself down that early), or I should say, I don't need my parents consent for anything already. Sound good rite? But come to think of it, this means you have to be in full responsible for what you are doing, you ain't suppose to be relying on them to make decisions for you anymore. B'cos you should learn and start planning for yourselves. I'm sure they'll be glad to see you do that.
Alright, back to NOW. I was slacking at CoffeeBean yesterday afternoon with HJ & LilyLeeLeeLee (haha! her new name) Played with these two extremely-adorable kids, Samson & Tina (We believe they are that CoffeeBean's owner's kids). Talked to them about the zoo, Thomas the train, Happy Feet, then drew animals, houses, castles, flowers... Kids make you really happy sometimes...
I received this e-card from Lynnie this morning, thank you darling for brightening up my day.
Blogging in school now, having Mobile Computing lab. 20 mins more before school ends. I'm going to Marina Square to meet Gaby later, have dinner or something.
Friday, 1st December. Decided to skip school for the day. Morning was ruined, so not worth mentioning. Headed down to town with Gaby in the afternoon, went to Summer for a haircut. Gaby trimmed his hair, I chopped off 2 inches and my fringe. Visited the SITEX 2006 at Expo, Gaby got two iPod shuffles, one for himself and one for me! Happy 3rd Anniversary to us!
Saturday, 2nd December. Poor Chun Hui waited for me for almost an hour. All bcos' of the MRTs and taxis... For some reason, the train tracks between Woodlands to Sembawang had some problems. Don't ask me why, I don't know why! I was cursing and swearing in my heart, I waited for a freaking 25 mins for the train to come and I was told that there won't be any train services for the time being. I hurried down to the taxi stand, and I was amazed at the crowd waiting for the cabs. Like queuing for Hello Kitty at McDonalds like that... I got damn fed up, took a 5 mins walk to the main road and there wasn't any cabs in sight. Rang Chun Hui and apologised for a million times. And I finally got into a cab after 20 mins of wait. I was sweating like hell... Total damage: 18bucks for the cab fare + melted make-up and messy hair + sweat!
